From College to the Real World

One Canadian's experiences of the mishaps and struggles of a canuck living in the US. Currently attending a small private college in the middle of cornfields. Transitioning into the real world, dealing with being a "has-been" athlete and managing 30 twelve and thriteen year olds has recently consumed my life, and I'm OK with that. My only gratification through all this are the getaways to Michigan to see the love of my life. The real world is upon me and as I realize this, I've decided to write a little about my experiences and the smaller subtleties of life that keep me going.

I recently graduated from college, and embarking on the "real-world" as I know it. I am trying to start my teaching career, overcoming the challenges of an international, interracial relationship and finding my way to happiness through all the confusion and finer times.

Mostly, this blog serves to document my journey through life, keep long-distance friends updated, and serve as an outlet for my frustrations, excitements and yes, the rare deep moments...
